New format for our newsletter

Read our newsletter on mobile devices

More than 50% of the Club Members who receive our newsletter now view it using a mobile device – their smartphone or tablet.   Our previous format was designed to be viewed on a desktop computer and was very difficult to see on a phone screen so we have completely changed things and moved to a “responsive” design that should work really well on both large and small screens, with the layout adapting to give the best fit and make it all readable and clickable!

We would be very interested to know if it is not working well for, so if you have any problems reading this newsletter on your device pleaseuse the link below to leave a comment on the online version of this article.   Let us know the type of device you are using and what problem you had and we will see if we can fix it.

(We are currently working on a major redevelopment of our Anything Left Handed website to make both the shop and all of our information pages responsive as well and that should be ready in September so please bear with us).

I don’t like getting newsletters on my smart phone or other portable device. I certainly hope I will continue getting the newsletter on my desktiop regardless of your change of format. Am I correct?

    • Keith says:

Yes indeed – we will just send it to your email address and we can’t tell whether you are going to open it on your desktop or your mobile, that is why we have changed to the responsive theme so it will work whichever you choose 🙂

  3. Stuart Carmichael says:

It is great having the menu on the left of the I pad. The only fault I have found is that the boxes which contain links remain blank white spaces.

  4. Ann Hofmann says:

Hi, I was trying to order the Stabilio metallic pink option ink pen but encountered an internal server error 2 times. I’ll try again tomorrow but wanted to let you know.

I am a devotee of the LH Newsletter and always look forward to reading it (even when you’re offering products I don’t need.) However, I am one of those folks who still uses a desktop computer (I’d be happy to have a new smartphone, etc. if somebody would teach me how to use it, but the only one here with me is the cat, and he of course is too superior to deal with such mundane matters.) The problem here is that I am only receiving partial lines in the new format – I think only a few words are left off, and so far I can pretty much figure out what’s missing, but it’s still not good. Will you still be using the old format at all? (she asked, hopefully)

  6. Sheena Pennington says:

    Love your new format.

  7. Kelly says:

I just wanted to say that I read the newsletter on my desktop or laptop and to be honest
I found the new format to be EASIER to read on both than the old format.
