This left handed desk diary / weekly planner is tailor-made for us lefties. To make it easier to use, it features planning pages on the left side of each weekly spread and ample space for notes. The right side features an interesting fact about left-handedness. The calendar also recognizes the birthdays of famous left-handed people.
Following much pressure from us and Club Members, the publishers have now reversed the printing so that it opens from left to right - the proper direction for us lefties.
52 double-page spreads, one for each week of the year.
Size: 7 x 9 x 0.5 inches; 178 x 229 x 13 mm
We have had a few different views on how this diary should be laid out and our view is that it is better to have the numbers on the left as it means when you are writing your left hand can rest on the page and write to the right of the date number. If it was printed on the right and you had to start writing at the left edge of the page, it would be awkward and uncomfortable as your hand would first be on the edge of the pages, then have to be lifted up onto the page as you write across it, rather like if the spiral binding was on the left. Left-handers write using a lot of different styles but our recommended approach is to keep the hand under the writing line and doing that the date number on the left is not covered. It is impossible to please everyone with things like this but we hope it is done in the way that suits most people.

Explains why ordinary diaries do not work for us I bought this for my left handed wife as a present. As left handers we can see that it is so much better than an ordinary diary. (09/08/2010) Bill Edwards - Gt. Bardfield

Yes A perfect diary for school as well. I usually have the diaries cut and bound on the opposite side for my daughter. At last she has one that is not "re-made" for her. (04/03/2011) Charlene - South Africa
