I’m a media student and have had difficulty with video recording. As the camera is designed for right-handed use, the strap is on the right. As I’m left-handed my right hand is not as strong and so cannot support the camera whilst holding it to film. I have looked for left-handed video camera but can’t seem to find any, so am left to use a tripod stand. All that needs to be done is switch the strap to the left side, and the viewing screen to the right, and it would be instantly left-handed.

I’ve been having some problems with my right arm and elbow lately which has prompted me to do some creatve thinking about “what ifs” of the future. I am a secretary so my hands are my life but I also have other interests such as video and photography. Since I am having problems with my RIGHT hand and arm I was wondering if anyone has found any LEFT HANDED video cameras or a LEFT HANDED camera. I’m sure I could turn my camera upside down and use my thumb on the shutter but …. well, that would be a bit awkward to say the least.
