Currency conversion and currency rates

Currency conversionWe get a lot of emails asking us about prices for our products in various currencies so we have implemented a system that allows you to choose a currency then see our whole shop and checkout in that currency, calculated at current rates

Just click on one of the flags at the top right of our shop pages or click on the “Change Display Currency” link to select your country.

Go to our online shop and give it a try

We display prices and shopping baskets in £ Sterling with a facility to choose your own currency as well.  The conversions are based on current rates from sourced from multiple feeds including Reuters on a daily basis.  The rates used are known as spot rates or interbank rates and should be a reliable guide to the actual rates you will be charged by your card company.

We will charge your card in £ Sterling and, if appropriate, your credit card company will convert at their current rate to your local currency. You should see our company name and both the £ Sterling and local currency amounts on your credit card statement. This is exactly the same process that happens if your use your card in a shop or restaurant outside your own country.

Note that the rate your card company use to convert the amount for your card statement may be slightly different, but it should be pretty close.  We do not make any charges for using a credit card whatever currency your account is in and it is unlikely your card company will make a charge either.

If you want the check currency rates from other sources, you can type a currency conversion question into the Google search box and get an answer, e.g. search for “30 uk pounds in us dollars”.

Or you can use a currency conversion website like www.xe.com/ucc/ or the Yahoo currency converter here http://finance.yahoo.com/currency-converter

Just click on the link at the top right of any of our shop pages that says “Change display currency” and choose from the hundreds of currencies there (AUD is the 5th one in the list).

Hi and tnkahs for writingIf you own a regular right handed guitar and you want to play left handed, then you have to make a choice: either reverse the strings of your guitar so you can learn to play normal left handed or relearn everything by leaving the strings as they are. I really truly recommend doing the former. There are enough things to cope with when learning and you don’t want to have to go crazy just learning simple chords. So first, restring your guitar, reversing all the strings so that the thickest string is closest to the ceiling and the thinnest string is closest to the floor. Depending on your guitar, though, this also may not be the easiest thing to do. And if you don’t know what you’re doing, then go to a music store and talk to someone. That will make your life a lot easier. Hope this helps. You can check out a lot more about playing the guitar at , which is where I write on the Internet. Or write me directly at . Peace
