An exceptionally smooth writing fountain pen which has always been one of our customer's favourites. Particularly suitable for older children, who will love its trendy coloured barrel and adults who like a thinner nib, which is less prone to smudging. The barrel provides specific grip for left-hander's comfort. Highly recommended.

This pen takes a standard 38mm half size cartridge - put a spare inside the barrel upside down to keep the live one in place and be available if you run out of ink.

  My second favorite pen  Ok, I really do love this pen and thought that fountain pens were out of my reach until I found this one. It's a great, all purpose pen, especially when combined with a refillable cartridge. The Pelikano writes smoothly and has a medium nib. Definately buy it. You can't beat the price!   Mark

  The best fountain pen in the world  I purchased my Pelikano in 2001 and it has been used every day since then and produced constant, unsmudged writing until today, when my left-handed son tried it, loved it and pinched it! I am about to purchase another one.   Michael John Wood

  Exactly what I was looking for!  I bought this pen for my 9yr old left handed son who had been complaining how his fountain pen was always gettig stuck in the paper and therefore taking him longer to complete his written work.   Fantastic  I strongly recommend this pen to any left-handed writer, despite its quite juvenile appearance. It's the first specifically left-handed pen I have used, so perhaps there is a novelty factor at play. Yet, I am very satisfied.   Fantastic fountain pen  My 9 yr old left-handed son said this was one of his best Christmas presents! We gave it to him to show how far he had come with his handwriting (helped by using your stabilo "basketball" pen).
