We have been trying for a long time to get a new left-hand only peeler made - one that you have to hold in your left hand if you want to use the normal action of peeling towards yourself. We have now found one that works really well and is also good looking and comes in a great range of colours. It has a stainless steel blade and painted wooden handle. Left-hand only.

Are they dishwasher safe?
They have only just come in and Keith put one in the dishwasher for the first time today to test them.
It seems OK so far but they do have a have a painted wooden handle so I guess they will deteriorate if they are in there a lot. We will keep putting this one in every day for a while and see how it does and put a report on the website later.
For now, we can't really say they are guaranteed safe in the dishwasher, but they are very good peelers!

  Oh the joys of this peeler !  At last a peeler that enables me to vegetable without taking huge chunks off. There it sits in my kitchen drawer a vision in purple I love it and would buy all the colours only as I am not an octopus this is not practical.   Rachel
