This refillable wax crayon with the Griffix grip position helps pre-school children learn how to hold the pen and apply the correct presssure using its innovative grip. It is the first stage in the writing system and will help your child easily transfer from colouring to writing.

The body of the pen rotates to click the locking mechanism that hold the wax refill, allowing you to push it in or pull it out to extend it or replace it with different colours. It is supplied with a red wax refill in the pen and also a blue and black refill.

Helping child to learn how to grip her pencil without having to twist her hand into the usual uncomfortable leftie position.   Helping students apply the correct pressure  I'm an occupational therapist working with children with writing problems. This crayon helps wonderfully with finger positioning as well as focusing them on applying the correct pressure to the writing surface.
