We used to have a left-handed steak knife made with a small serration on the right side of the blade but the demand for it was very low so we had to stop it.

Lauren was contacted by the Daily Mail last week for her opinion on some new research that has surfaced, suggesting that we lefties are angrier than the average right hander.
The new study, let by Ruth Propper a psychology professor at Merrimack College in Massachusetts USA found that among left-handers, the two hemispheres of the brain communicate more with each other so have more interaction with the parts which produce negative emotion.

A radiologist friend noted yesterday the 3 of 4 radiologists in his medical group are left-handed, as are 3 of 4 radiological technicians in their employ. He also noted that American surgeons are rarely (in his experience) left-handed, as virtually all of the tools and equipment presume right-handedness

Our “backwards” calendar running from right to left is now ready with 2011 dates. Like anti-clockwise watches, lefthanders find it a lot easier to read than right-handers and we get a lot of people asking for it each year.

We often get asked about spiral notebooks for left-handers as we find the standard right-handed ones difficult to use as our hand ends up resting uncomfortably on top of the spiral binding. If the books have plain paper, you can just tuirn them upside down and write on what would normally be the back of the sheets.
